It's an exciting time to be a hockey fan if you're living in Hershey, Pennsylvania, or Charleston, South Carolina. Both the Hershey Bears and South Carolina Stingrays, the Capitals' minor-league affliates, are still playing for their respective championships.
South Carolina is three wins away from capturing theirs, the Kelly Cup.
The Stingrays lead the Alaska Aces 1-0 after 4-2 victory on the road in Anchorage.
In Hershey, the Bears can advance to the Calder Cup Finals tonight with a win over the Providence Bruins. The Bears lead the series, 3-1.
Much of the Bears' success has come on the back of the other Caps goalie prospect, Michal Neuvirth. Neuvy has a 2.03 GAA and a .929 save percentage.
Go Rays and Go Bears!
