Hedman or Tavares? Or how about Duchene? The choice is yours Garth Snow. The 2009 NHL Draft is upon us.

Discuss it here along with other teams drafts. That's right, I'm inviting the Bloguin NHL crew; The Pensblog, Five For Smiting, The Manic Ranger and Barry Melrose Rocks into our house.

We'll have a draft re-cap of Day One after it concludes, and we'll wrap up Day Two on Saturday night.

After that, let the free agent speculation begin.

Draft note list:
1) Get the #1 pick away from Isles. Any team not named Lightning, Flyers, Hurricanes, Rangers, Devils, Oilers or Stars will do*.
2) Get Hedman
