It's official, Brent Johnson is now a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins, but realistically, who didn't see this coming?
A hip injury sidelined Brent Johnson earlier in the season, paving the way for Simeon Varlamov to take the backup role. When Varlamov replaced Theodore in the playoffs and led the Capitals through the first round, Johnson's fate was pretty much sealed.
Thanks for the great work you gave us as a Capital, such as these highlights.
But now that you're sleeping with the enemy. I can only hope your future is more like this.
