Don't Call It a Comeback

It's been six long months since I left Capitals Kremlin adrift in cyberspace for the green pastures of a sportswriting job.

Now, with after gaining a firm grasp of my beats, the passion to continue my personal coverage of the Washington Capitals has returned.

Here's the deal. I'm still planning on pre-capping games, writing small features on the weekend and keeping my eye on the odd stories Capitals Kremlin has been known to write about (see our "Unleash the Furry" post).

I'm excited to pick up where I left off. I may not be registering the 17-posts-per-week cycle I did when I was at Virginia Commonwealth University, but I'm going to make sure Capitals Kremlin is still a top destination for hockey blogging.

Let's go Caps.

So this comeback might, oh I don't know, have something to do with Ovechkin and co. mounting their own little "Miracle on Ice" the other night?

Not really. I've been contemplating it since about late Dec. but with all the snow and some acquisition of more time on my hands I went through with it. It also helped that Ovie and co. put on an inspiring effort.
